financial commitment, but owning a home also requires
a lot of your time and energy. Nothing could be worse
than moving into your new home and finding out that
there are major defects with the home.
Some inspectors prefer to conduct the inspection alone
because it’s faster and easier that way, but I encourage
you to accompany me during the home inspection.
This way, I can point out any areas of concern and answer
all of your questions. A complete, computer-generated report with photos is prepared and delivered to you within 24 hours of the inspection.
If you are unable to accompany me during the inspection, I will still conduct a thorough inspection of the home and provide you with a comprehensive, computer-generated report. In most cases, I will have the report ready for you the same day of the inspection, but no later than the following day. The Periodic Home Inspection will detect any small problems before they become major expenses, which more than covers the cost of the inspection.

Once your custom home is "finished", the paperwork is signed and final payment is made to the builder, a homeowner's recourse is limited. The builder may be reluctant or slow to come back and correct any problems.
